We are seeking a hardworking, well spoken, motivated person who loves children and who has the following skills:
This person should have experience within either medical billing or health insurance eligibility.
This unique applicant should be fluent with reading and understanding EOBs.
This person should have great computer skills and strong skills in excel.
This person will need to have great social skills and interact pleasantly with both our clients and our insurance funding agencies.
This person will assist children with disabilities and their families in getting the services they deserve.
A person with eligibility skills will be able to substantially assist our families with this confusing process of insurance funding.
If you are motivated by working with a team of individuals with a sole mission of helping children and families, then this position is the perfect position for you! Responsibilities Submit paperwork to insurance companies to seek eligibility for our clients.
Work with our clients to ensure an understanding of benefits and liabilities.
Submit ongoing paperwork to ensure re-authorizations occur in timely fashion.
Assist billing with difficulties with insurance billing.
Establish point of contact for each insurance company and communicate billing difficulties as needed.
Maintain staff rosters for all in network insurance companies.
Create/update charts to ensure all insurance related information is in a centralized location.
Research additional in network possibilities.
Review all incoming EOBs.
Ensure accurate billing records for all insurance clients.
Ensure the timely receipt of company and location information for each of our in network insurance companies.
Represent ABRITE with integrity at all times.
Work hours:
Estimated 15 hours per week.
