Production Lead - Press Printed
At Bay Photo, our production leads are vital team members that help keep their departments safe, productive, knowledgeable and motivated. The Production Lead is responsible for training technicians on approved production procedures, answering questions from staff and motivating or monitoring their team as requested. Production leads work in close communication with their Shift Supervisor and maintain a constant and accessible presence on the floor.
We currently have a regular full-time Lead Position open in Press Printed.

Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
Experience with and passion for teaching in an effective and caring manner
Strong mechanical, technical, analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional observation and listening skills, with an ability to react quickly and consistently to challenging situations using professionalism and diplomacy
Confident ability to communicate technical information and motivate team
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, stay organized and focused on company goals; all while creating flawless products
Appropriately reinforce standards and expectations regarding quality of work
Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:
Successful completion of Instructor Training Course
Train new hires following schedules outlined by Supervisor and report progress
Respond to technician questions, provide feedback, motivate
Assist Supervisor in implementing workflow goals and assignments
Communicate safety issues, production errors and workflow concerns
Stay apprised of new procedures / changes and communicate inconsistencies
Screen orders with production hold-ups and Complete FQC on remakes
Participation in department meetings
Availability to work 6am-3pm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
