Senior Finance Analyst - Sales

Responsibilities and Qualifications The Senior Finance Analyst - Sales will support the Finance Manager - Sales & Analysis and will be located in the Scotts Valley office. The candidate will be responsible for the generation of high quality financial information for multiple business units within the Bell+Giro division of Vista Outdoor, Inc. through multiple ERP systems including BI, Host Analytics and IBM Controller. This position assists in the preparation, analysis, and distribution of financial and management reporting, including budgets, forecasts and business analytics. This includes sales financereporting across GEOs and business units. Responsibilities include: Generation of accurate Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Forecasts for Bell+Giro CRD (Mass) & SRD (Specialty) businesses Partner to report on ASP & Margins forecast and plan for CRD/SRD businesses Maintain Closeout and EPR Price lists Supporting the financial requirements of Executive Management and the Bell+Giro sales team including requests for customer/product level analysis and profitability. Enhancing systems, processes, and reports to improve the quality and availability of financial information to aid in management and control of the business. Performing routine and ad hoc analysis, as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop financial models to support business analysis and perform revenue analysis, forecasting and reporting functions.  This will include not only standard reporting and analysis on actual performance, also the building and running of scenarios to evaluate the impact of potential programs and deals (special programs, closeouts, E-Commerce etc) on Bell+Giro forecasted and budgeted financials to create fact-based analysis used in future forecasting and planning. Cross-train on finance team responsibilities to develop/enhance onboardingprocesses and staff flexibility. Host Analytics forecast and annual planreporting and analysis. Develop monthly financialreporting for business reviews and analysis to provide insight to business partners on results and to meet corporate financialreporting. Provide financial analysis and reporting for all profit centers within the Bell+Giro Division.  Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis and provide reports on drivers of performance. Interact with other support functions (such as the finance and accounting, operations, and IT teams) in a manner conducive to furthering the goals of the finance team. Provide various ad-hoc analyses as requested by Finance Manager and Vista Outdoor management including Gross Sales, Net Sales, Gross Profit, product line reporting and trend analysis. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The candidate must have a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and 5+ 3+ years of hands-on planning and financial analysisexperience.  Proficient knowledge of planning and financial analysis principles, practices and procedures.  Advanced MS Excel, SAP, SAP BI, Host Analytics & MS Office. Proficiency working within ERP and Planning systems is desired as the position will be required to use SAP, BI, Host Analytics, MS Excel.  The candidate must be well rounded with good oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work closely with Senior Executives and Finance teams to standardize and improve performance measures and analytical methods that are consistent and meaningful.  The position will prove to be a challenging, rewarding and visible opportunity for the individual who possesses the requisite skills and attributes. ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Proven organizational skills, detail-orientation and solid work ethic.  Strong financial modeling and spreadsheet development skills. Ability to interpret financial statements, analyze results, and identify key issues. Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workload with high degree of accuracy. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
