Test Engineer II

Position Overview:   Fox is looking for an engineer with five to seven or more years of experience to design and develops processes that would test both mechanical and electrical products prior to going into production.   This position will be focused on the bicycle side of Fox business, and will be involved in strategic projects for the Test Lab.    Products to be tested will be both at a system and component level.  Mix of mechanical/fluids/thermal and electrical experiments would fluctuate depending on need and applicant skillset.  Responsibilities include but not limited to:   Reviews product requirements and specifications to enable development of an appropriate testing program.  Standardizes tests as required. Assists in the preparation of proposals for testing programs, outlines specific testing conditions, and develops test procedures. Coordinates and oversees actual tests and analyzes validity of results with a cross functional team. Prepares detailed technical reports of findings and makes recommendations for needed modifications to correct problems. Standardizes, documents and creates analysis tools so that future tests can be done through our technical staff. Defines and works to timelines.  Requirements/ Qualifications:   Required Experience:   Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required, master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience across all phases of product development from initial concept generation through production. This can include project or experience during college. Minimum 2 years direct experience in product testing or similar activities. Minimum 2 years direct experience managing a technical team or department   Required Skills: FOX Enthusiast Extensive mechanical skills including CAD and basic fabrication experience. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and maintenance Extensive data acquisition experience Hands on experience programming and working with electronics prototyping platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, etc. Sensors (thermocouples, accelerometers, Hall sensors, load cells, transducers, etc) PC-based test equipment Experience with wide variety of control components such as servo, stepper, linear, and piezoelectric motors; linear/rotary pneumatics, solenoids, robotics Desired Skills:   Manual Machine Shop Skills: Lathe, Mill and Welding MATLAB, Scilab or Octave programming experience NI LabVIEW programming experience NI TestStand programming experience C, C++, C# or equivalent programming Scripting language exposure (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc) FCC and CE EMC/EMI testing Serial port communications (RS232, RS485)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
