5 with 225/45 & 245/40 tires) The BMW E36 M3 GT was exclusively released in 1995 with only 356 examples produced and only 80 released in its home country of Germany.
This specific vehicle is 1 of those 80.
The Euro M3 GT car was exclusively released in a single color, BMW shade code 312 - British Racing Green making it identifiable by its paintwork alone.
Additionally, there were exclusive front and rear spoilers, aerodynamically improved mirrors, and M double-spoke aluminum forged wheels with sizes 7.
5 x 17 up front and 8.
5 x 17 back that were exclusively offered as optional on the M3 series.
The adjustable front splitter can be slid inward to become almost flush with the painted portion of the bumper's lowest edge, or it can extrude to look more aggressive.
Of course, the two-piece rear wing is the other modification to the M3's body that is unique to the GT.
Without this, the horizontal plane of the car's trailing edge already overhangs the remainder of the rear end; however, the spoiler increases this overhang even more by having its base installed in such a way that around a quarter of it hangs over the back unsupported.
This gives the exterior of the car a blown-back look.
Further distinguishing the GT from the standard M3, the front indicators are encased in white glass as opposed to the regular yellow, and the M3 GT's weight-optimized doors are constructed from aluminum.
The M3 GT is powered by a 3.
0 liter S50 inline-six cylinder motor producing an impressive 295hp and 238ft-lb of torque.
This M3 GT spent the majority of its life being used as a weekender in Germany where it was meticulously cared for.
Services were kept up to date by BMW dealerships and later by Mint Classics in Munich to ensure that the vehicle was always in pristine running and cosmetic condition.
It was recently imported and sold in the US, to its most recent caretaker.
Upon Bruce Canepa's initial test drive he noted that, it is an awesome driver's car that is comfortable and smooth, yet fast and engaging.
It is something that you can have fun with on the best back roads while still being able to take pleasure in a long-distance cruise, truly the best of both worlds! After Bruce's test drive, this M3 GT underwent our meticulous Canepa Difference process where it was inspected, serviced and recommissioned in all aspects to fully affirm its amazing condition.
Although this driver-centric vehicle has been put through its paces and amassed just over 50k miles, its impeccable looks tell another story.
This car has been paint metered and sports its factory original paint on every panel.
At first glance, anyone would believe that this was a garage queen with just 10k miles.
Even so, the vehicle has gone through our Concours award level detailing where it was brought back to show quality condtion.
This '95 M3 GT comes with the original toolkit, jack, full-size spare, and car cover in a green duffel bag.
All service manuals and paperwork from past services (in German) will be provided as well.
